Emergency Switchgear Restoration, Port Harcourt Refinery Corridor
When a critical low-voltage switchboard failed at a major refining facility in the Port Harcourt corridor, production across an entire process unit hung in the balance. The call reached GDPS at 02:14 on a Sunday.
Our emergency crew was on site before 04:00, isolated the fault to a catastrophic breaker failure compounded by degraded busbar insulation, and had a temporary bypass configuration safely energized by dawn, restoring the unit while permanent repairs proceeded.
